Nobody says goodbye. They just stop showing up on Sunday.

Foldmetric spots who’s been missing and sends an automated follow-up, composed by you, in your voice.

Your attendance report says 177 came. Foldmetric tells you which 37 didn’t, and which of them missed three in a row.

How it works

One QR code in, a list of names out.

Foldmetric works in four steps.

  1. They scan the code

A QR by the door is the only data entry point there is. One field, phone number or email, on whatever phone they own. Nothing to install, no account, no password, about 80 kB on a saturated church wifi.

  2. Foldmetric matches them, or adds them

0803 123 4567 and +234 803 123 4567 are one person, matched to one record, once per service, so a double-tap cannot inflate a count. A number that isn’t on the roster doesn’t hit a dead end: they register themselves, and you get a first-timers list instead of a stranger nobody wrote down.

  3. Every service adds to the picture

One Sunday is a headcount. Twenty Sundays is engagement. Foldmetric keeps the record per person and per service, so you see an x of y ratio, a run of consecutive misses, and how long since anyone last saw them.

  4. You get the list, by name

Day, week or month, with an x of y ratio per person and a flag on anyone who has missed several running. Export it as CSV, one column per service date, and hand it to whoever makes the calls.

What you get

Built for Sunday, and for the six days after

One scan at the door, and the rest follows.

Check-in by QR code

Members scan and enter one thing: their phone number or email. No app, no account. Print the sign from your dashboard with your own logo on it.

See who’s slipping away

A list of who missed three services in a row, with the dates and how long it has been. Not just today’s absentees.

Invite your other branches

Invite a church by their administrator’s email or phone. Once they accept, you see every branch’s attendance in one place. On Growth and up.

Attendance analytics

Turnout for every service, by day, week or month. Your best and quietest Sundays, and whether the trend is going up or down.

Follow-up and birthday messages

Miss the number of services you set and Foldmetric messages them on WhatsApp, SMS or email, in wording you wrote, not ours. Birthdays go out the same way, on the day. Send them yourself, or hand a round to a care team.

Export to CSV any time

Every view downloads as a spreadsheet, on every plan including the free one. Your member list is yours to take.

Questions

What counts as an active member?

Anyone who has checked in at least once in the last 90 days. That is the only number your plan is measured against — so import the whole roster you already have, including the names you are not sure about. People who never turn up are never counted and never billed, and somebody who drifts away stops counting three months later without you doing anything. We measure it monthly and use the highest of the last three months, so one packed Easter does not reprice your year.

What happens if we use up our messages?

You can top up in bundles that do not expire, at the rate for your country. If you would rather not, nothing breaks: the absence list still flags people, the digest still arrives in the office inbox, and the check-in door carries on as normal — you just call or visit instead of texting. The allowance is one message per active member per month, and because messages only go out when somebody passes the absence streak you set or has a birthday, most churches use a fraction of it.

Do we need to replace our current church software?

No. Foldmetric does not replace your current software, it fits into the way you already work and improves how you stay connected with your members. Your existing system keeps your membership records, giving and rotas. Bring the member list you already have, or start from scratch and let people add themselves the first time they check in.

Does the congregation need to install an app?

No. It is a web page that opens when you scan your church’s QR code or type the address.

How does the QR code actually work on a Sunday?

One code, printed once and taped by the door. It never changes, so the same sign works every Sunday. A member scans it, enters their phone number or email, and that is the check-in. Download the printable sheet from your dashboard; it comes with your church’s name and logo above the code.

What happens when a first-timer scans the code?

They scan, and because the number is new they get one extra field: their name. That is the whole form. From that moment they are a member, checked into the service, and counted as a first timer for 30 days. If they stop coming, they show up on your absence list like anyone else.

We meet on Saturday, and twice on Sunday. Does that work?

Yes — that is three services, which Core covers. Each one has its own name, days and optional time window, and its own wording on the check-in screen. Attendance is then counted per service, so a full Sunday morning and a thin midweek show up as two different facts. Free covers one; Growth and above, as many as you run. The schedule runs in your timezone on our servers, so changing the date on a phone does not open the door on a Tuesday.

Can we invite our branches and see their attendance?

Yes, from Growth up. Growth covers three churches; past that the rate is quoted, and there is no ceiling on it. Each branch signs up on its own, then you invite its administrator by email or phone, and they choose what you see: totals, turnout and trends (the default), plus names, or everything including contact details. The view is read-only and nothing merges: a branch keeps its own check-in page, members and administrators, and can leave whenever it likes. Networks run four levels deep.

Can our children’s church and choir check in separately?

Yes, on the Growth and Network plans. Turn on check-in points in Settings and give each one its own check-in page and printed sign: the choir, the ushers, the teens, the children’s church. Choir members check themselves in with the same number they use at the main door. At the children’s church a parent enters their own number, ticks their children in, and each child is given a pickup tag — numbered for you, or the tags you already have — and checked out at the same page. Check-ins there never change your service turnout. Growth covers up to 400 children, and Network has no limit.

If we leave, what happens to our data?

You export it — every view, any time, on every plan including Free. There’s no export fee and no wind-down period where the data is held hostage. Delete the account and it’s gone from our systems.
