What you would be working on

Foldmetric tells a church who has stopped coming. Not how many people were in the building — churches can already count — but which four households were there every week and have now missed three, while a phone call is still a normal thing to make.

The product is used by people who are not sitting at a desk. A volunteer holds a tablet by a door for three hours; a pastor reads a list on a phone on Monday morning; a network administrator in Lagos opens the same page on congested wifi. That constraint decides most of the engineering, and it is more interesting than it sounds.

How we work

Open roles

Nothing open right now.

We would rather say that than list roles we are not hiring for. When one opens it will be on this page before it is anywhere else.

Applying anyway

If you would be good at something here and there is no advert for it, write to careers@foldmetric.com. Tell us what you would want to work on and point at something you have made. A CV is fine and is not the part we read first.

We read every one and we reply to every one, including the no. If a week goes by and you have heard nothing, send it again — that is our mistake, not a signal.

Who we are

Foldmetric is a product of Bashlabs Innovation. The company builds software for organisations that are not software companies, which mostly means caring a great deal about the two minutes somebody spends with a screen on a Sunday and very little about anything a conference would call a platform.

The terms of use name the registered entity, and the privacy policy sets out what happens to the data — both worth reading if you are weighing us up.
